Sorting, Matching, Grouping

Introduction to Statistics: We have been busy exploring ways that you can sort and group things in Ngā Ngāru this week.  We looked carefully to see how things were the same or different to each other.  We talked about size, shape, colour and type. There are lots of different ways you can sort things!

Hudson the Hedgehog wrote us a letter to ask what our favourite fruit is.  Next week we are going to look at grouping our choices to see which fruit is the most popular.  Leave a comment below and tell us what your favourite fruit is.

  2. So nice to see what our Nga Ngaru are up to! Everybody looks like they are very busy and enjoying the sorting and grouping. Can't wait to hear which fruit made it to the podium, could be quite hard to get a favorite with all the delicious fruit out there!

Great work Nga Ngaru! Those are the longest lines of dinosaurs I've ever seen. Hudson, my favourite fruit is a banana.
