On Friday we had a special ceremony to bless and raise our new school logo and flag. The wind conditions were perfect. Our Kaumatua Boyce Kirikino blessed the flag. We sang a waiata.
Rees Morley who worked with some students to design the logo, explained the meaning behind the symbols and the choice of colours. Then it was time to unfurl the flag and raise it for the first time.
